Richmond Playground
The centerpiece of the playground is a giant bear playstructure cuddling a tree. It's got everything your little wants from little hidey-holes to environments for pretend play to every opportunity to climb. The park spans mid-block between 18th and 19th Ave and is fenced on both sides. There's a smaller slide and nature play zone for little tots. The only swings are the baby kind so if you have a big swinger let them down in advance. Bathrooms were redone as part of the upgrade and are fresh and new. There's also a set of picnic tables directly next to the play area which is always a plus for easier kid watching.
The main downside of Richmond Playground is there is no shade - a common issue with San Francisco play spaces but also something that usually doesn't matter on the 90% of days where the city is encased in fog.
