Balboa Park
The park features various facilities such as a swimming pool, playground, soccer stadium, baseball field, skate park, off-leash dog area, picnic area, tennis courts, and basketball court. Balboa Park is located in the Outer Mission neighborhood group of San Francisco, California, adjacent to the neighborhoods of Cayuga, Ingleside, Oceanview, and Sunnyside. The park originally included 100 acres of land, of which 25 acres remain today. It was named after explorer and conquistador Vasco Núñez de Balboa and dedicated in 1909.
