Alta Plaza Park
Looking for sweeping 360 vistas out of your playground visit? Alta Plaza park will not disappoint.
The park was created in 1888, giving the site new life after its quarry days. Later it served as a temporary refuge to folks displaced by the 1906 earthquake. You may also recognize the staircase leading up to the park from the 1971 film "What’s Up, Doc?”
Check out the beautiful mosaics scattered around the playground marrying nature art with panoramic views.
