West Portal Park

West Portal Playground was redone in 2020 another of San Francisco's LetsPlaySF! Initiative parks. The designers went all in bringing a fantasy world to life. The centerpiece of the park is a large purple dragon with an enticing red tongue slide. Let your imagination run wild in this sea of color.
For train and bus lovers, the playground is built atop the transit tunnel running into West Portal Station. There's a sweet little picnic area for parties and a large grassy lawn for picnics and tossing a ball around.
